Resource availability issue

There is a partial unavailability of resources over HTTPS/TLS. The alleged reason is the new TSP filtering rules that affected routes to Selectel. Problems with network connectivity have been refuted.
Selectel resources are currently working smoothly, and there are no problems with internal connectivity.

Access to resources over HTTPS/TLS is gradually returning to normal. Selectel’s infrastructure is operating as expected, and traffic is not being filtered at the level of our data centers. The restrictions are caused by a third party — specifically, filtering performed by DPI equipment operated by backbone network providers. As a result, the issue has a widespread impact.

Since the filtering is applied by internet service providers, the appropriate course of action depends on the nature of the restriction:

• If the server is inaccessible only through specific ISPs (for example, it cannot be reached from a home network but remains accessible via mobile internet), the most effective solution is to contact the affected provider’s support team directly.
• If traffic to the server is being filtered by all providers, please collect detailed diagnostic information and contact our support team via the ticket system for further investigation.

We are actively communicating with the network providers that supply connectivity to Selectel data centers, as well as with regulatory authorities, to help prevent issues caused by excessive traffic filtering in the future.

According to the latest information, the identifiers DPI devices are not required when submitting a request to have IP addresses excluded from filtering.

Some customers have begun reporting that resources are becoming accessible again over HTTPS/TLS.

Our internal checks also indicate that there are currently no signs of blocking.

Over the next 24 hours, we will closely monitor the situation and will provide additional updates as soon as more information becomes available.
